Aman Kumar
Aman Kumar is a Masters student in CSE department at OSU. He has spent over 4 years in the software industry, designing and developing J2EE applications using variety of software development processes. He has returned to the academia to upgrade his knowledge of Software Engineering with more focus on the theoretical and research aspects. In particular, he is interested in the areas like Enterprise Application Design, Agile Methodologies, Test Driven Development, Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Aspect Oriented Programming etc.
Farha Mukri
She has done her Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from University of Mumbai in the year 2007. She has developed an application 'Voice Enabled Browser' as her final year project which was selected for the Special Recognition Award by I.I.T. ekalavya scheme. She has authored a paper titled 'Issues in Open Source Software Development' which was selected for the SEDE conference conducted by ISCA in July 2007. Her research interest is software engineering, enterprise systems.
Greg Horvath
Greg Horvath is a first year Masters student in CSE. His research interest include business wokflow systems.
Joe Bolinger
Joe is a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering currently working with his advisor, Dr. Jay Ramanathan, in the area of enterprise architecture and strategic modeling. His research interests broadly include the design, development, management, and evolution of complex software systems to support cooperative human activities. In particular, he is interested in techniques for representing and reasoning about social behaviors, in context, and their influence on software engineering methodologies.
Kelly Yackovich
Kelly Yackovich is a second year graduate student in CSE. Her experience includes designing and building database systems as well as implementing and analyzing bioinformatics applications. Kelly's interests include computer science/software engineering education as well as software design for collaboration, usability, and accessibility.
Nipun Kalra
Nipun Kalra is a Graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He's worked on projects like Implementation of Fuzzy Logic to ATM networks and Image processing tasks like Trajectory Detection of microscopic IR Targets. His interest lies in the fields of databases, mining of Intelligent data, Software Engineering and Enterprise Architecture.
Preethi Raghavan
Preethi Raghavan is a first year Masters student in the CSE department at Ohio State University. She has worked as a Software Engineer with Infosys Technologies Ltd., India for the last 2 years where she was part of various web application development projects for Cisco. Her current interests include software engineering, systems and certain AI areas such as HCI and cognitive science.
Ralston Da Silva
Ralston obtained a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from PCCE, Goa University, India. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree at the Ohio State University. Before joining OSU, Ralston worked with Siemens Information Systems Ltd, Bangalore India as a Systems Engineer and worked on Syngo, which is an Operating System for medical acquisition systems. His current interests are Distributed Computing, Sensor Networks and Software Engineering.
Sarah McLaird
First year Masters Degree student in CSE who did her undergraduate work at Bowling Green State University. Her interests are in software engineering, HCI and AI.
Thomas Lynch
Tom is a first year graduate student in Computer Science and Engineering. Tom is returning to school after spending many years in the industry developing systems for small businesses. Most of the work involved financial and accounting systems. All of the systems were database applications. Tom has programmed in a multitude of languages. Most recently he has been developing in C, C++, PHP with some minor Java projects. Tom's interests include Artificial Intelligence in the areas of Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing.
Vasudha Gupta
Vasudha is a first year Masters student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Ohio State University. She has worked as a summer trainee on software projects like the implementation of Bug Tracking tool and an Online Test Database System at Techbooks, India and CMC Ltd. ,India respectively. The work involved working on all the attendant processes that are employed in a full-life cycle software development project i.e SRS, Design, Implemenation and Testing. Her research interests include Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture and Machine Learning in the AI domain.
