Education & Internships

by admin last modified 2008-02-04 13:50

The opportunites coordinated by CETI are designed for both advanced students and professionals. Browse our offerings in professional workshops, undergraduate and graduate project courses, and certificate programs below. In addition, we coordinate internship opportunites and mentoring of professionals in the application of knowledge. Please register your interest and we will get in touch with you.

“Projects that require a high level of creativity, insight, innovation, and thinking outside the box are also likely to stay onshore, as are the jobs requiring process design and business analysis; technology and systems integration; and the fusion of industry knowledge with a high level of IT skills.”  …Ephraim Schwartz, Info World, May 17th 2005

Considering this, CETI offerings are in the following areas:

Education: The courses and workshops offered by CETI cover the most current integrated content needed to solve real-world problems effectively. The courses also apply the knowledge within team-based projects. Since the requirements are industry-driven, the projects are typically multi-disciplinary, team-based, and results-oriented thus providing skills valued by industry. We invite you to browse our offerings for further details.

(The more advanced silver-level course sequence is offered as part of the regular curriculum at The Ohio State University.  The material covered in the silver-level is not dependent on the bronze-level.  However to get certification, you need to demonstrate that you have passed the ITIL foundation exam.)

Internships:  Interested in industry related experiences?  Please register your interest using the questionnaire on the left and provide us with information about yourself.  We will get in touch with you as opportunities arise.  For a current list of internship opportunities, click here.

Mentored projects:  As a professional, do you face a challenge problem that could use some help and out-of-the-box thinking?  Please register your interest using the questionnaire on the left and and provide a brief description of the business and technical problem.  If it falls into one of CETI's program areas and objectives, we will assign a team to the problem-solving effort.
